Strength and Conditioning

Juniper Muay Thai Gym is lucky to share its space with Strength Haus, another Best of Philly winning business. Strength Haus specializes in Strength Training and Kettlebells with certified strength instructors teaching all classes. Owner Jon Lyons has led Juniper’s Kettlebell Program for the last three years and caters his classes and programming towards functional strength and injury prevention. All members get a complimentary 5 Strength Haus Strength classes and 5 Open Gyms to use the equipment as part of their membership!

Every Muay Thai class will include a mix of anaerobic and aerobic exercises. All members are welcome and encouraged to speak with Coach Joe and Coach George about fitness for Muay Thai. Though Muay Thai routines are often basic—focused on long runs, body weight exercises, jump rope, and other ‘old school’ methodology—Muay Thai fighters have some of the best conditioning in all of combat sports. Coupled with supplementary Strength Training from Strength Haus, we believe that we have some of the best offerings in the City.

Our Facility

Through collaboration with Strength Haus our workout options include: Squat Racks, Deadlift/Oly Platforms, Air Bikes, Ski Erg, TRX, Olympic Rings, Turf + Sled, Slam Balls, Dumbbells, Benches, and a ton of kettlebells. We are continually working to build out our space for additional strength equipment.
