Joe Logan - Owner / Muay Thai Coach

Joe Logan is co-founder and co-owner of Juniper Muay Thai Gym. Joe has over 25 fights, fighting professionally around the world in countries like Thailand, China, Panama, Mexico, and here in the U.S. Joe spent extensive time in Thailand training at some of the country’s top gyms, including Sitmonchai and Hong Thong. While training professionally in Thailand, Joe fought at both Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadiums, two of the most prestigious Muay Thai arenas. Joe was known for his punishing leg kicks, and nose-to-the-grindstone fight-style.

Prior to opening Juniper Muay Thai, Joe opened and operated the Baan Singto Revolution Muay Thai gym in Guadalajara, Mexico. He is fluent in Spanish and has a knack for teaching kids. Spanish-friendly classes and private sessions are available with Joe.

George Pitsakis - Owner / Muay Thai Coach

George Pitsakis is co-founder and co-owner of Juniper Muay Thai Gym. His fight record is 14 wins, 4 losses, 3 KOs, fighting primarily Full Rules, A-Class Muay Thai. He has fought in some of the top promotions along the East Coast, including Friday Night Fights, Warriors Cup, and American Muay Thai League. Likewise, George has cornered fighters nationally and internationally in promotions including K1 and Lion Fight. George has always found the most joy in training and coaching other fighters.

Casey Bohrman - Muay Thai Instructor

Casey began fighting Muay Thai in 2006 when very few women were involved in the sport and even fewer were fighters. She went pro after just 7 fights in order to find more opponents. Casey has fought in the U.S., Canada, Suriname, and Thailand. When she is not in the gym, she is working as a Professor of Social Work at West Chester University or spending time with her partner Yohannes and their daughters Toby and Sloan. Casey Bohrman is the lead instructor of Juniper Muay Thai’s Women’s Muay Thai Program as well as a coach, cornerman, and all around staple of the team.

Jacqui Sadashige - Yoga Instructor

Jacqui began her journey as a yoga instructor at the legendary It’s Yoga in San Francisco, where she trained with Larry Schultz. Since then, Jacqui has completed additional training in multiple styles of yoga. Known for her attention to anatomy, clear explanations, and high energy, Jacqui likes to customize her classes based on participant requests. When not training or teaching at Juniper, Jacqui is a Lead Instructor at City Fitness and a lecturer at several local universities.

Jon Lyons - Strength Haus Owner / Head Coach

Jon Lyons is a Philly-based strength & conditioning coach, runner, kettlebell specialist and Muay Thai newbie. His certifications include Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist via NASM, as well as StrongFirst SFG1 Kettlebell Instructor. Jon is the founder of Strength Haüs, the Strength Gym that shares space with Juniper Muay Thai Gym. When he's not training he's hanging with his 13 year old daughter, listening to thrash metal or playing drums.


Mike Cruz - Assistant Muay Thai Coach

Michael is currently both an assistant Muay Thai coach at Juniper and a strength & conditioning coach at Strength Haus. He’s also a USA Boxing Green level coach, Certified Personal Trainer, and Amateur Muay Thai fighter. 

Michael has fought for and trained in Muay Thai gyms from the West to the East Coast; as well as Thailand since 2010.  He is passionate about the sport of Muay Thai and its relationship to strength and conditioning along with the discipline and humility that come from becoming a Muay Thai practitioner. Michael wants to expose people of all backgrounds to the sport that changed his life.

 

Kartinya Rodgers - Assistant Muay Thai Coach

Kartinya started her Muay Thai journey in 2018; just one week before her 36th birthday.  Kartinya continues to learn and grow as a fighter and loves to pass her knowledge on to beginners in the sport. Her specialty is teaching fun and engaging intro classes and helping new practitioners develop a solid foundation from which to grow.
